Mild and good

I only smoked 2 so far, the flavor was smooth and the ash was even and long. To me that's a sign of quality and freshness. Ashton has always provided a great cigar. I can't wait to complete the rest

For the cost I was a little disappointed because three out of the five cigars packed so tight that they didn’t have a good draw. Disappointed in one of my favorites Cigar makers

This was a very good sample set for anyone who is new to cigars or has not had anything in the Ashton lineup. Ashton is one of the big names in the industry creating some of the most renowned sicks like La Aroma De Cuba and San Cristobal. The highlight of this set for me was the VSG. Its a great mix of light bodied smoke with a subtle kick of baking spices in flavor. Some of the other sticks may be a little forgettable when compared to the big name Ashton sticks. I only have quality issues with one stick, that's why there is a knock of one star. A manufacturer as big as Ashton shouldn't ever have these issues. But 1/5 still isn't bad compared to some other big name manufacturers.

The Maduro is the perfect size ring gauge, and smokes like a dream! Then the vsg is probably the most quality cigar for the price point IMO. Huge Ashton fan and this 5 pack delivers!
